Council narrows community center hours after vandalism reports; vote approves later closing

The chair directed staff to update schedules and notification systems so that councilors and the public would be informed when doors are propped or when hours change. The council also asked staff to post signage and use camera notifications and to coordinate with custodial staff to ensure secure lockup times.
The outcome: the motion to change closing hours passed and staff was instructed to implement the change and publicize it.
