The county board approved an emergency expenditure of $51,411.32 to Honeywell to replace a rooftop unit at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department. Ray Minor moved the approval and Brad Wilson seconded it; the roll-call vote was unanimous. Chairman Neil Hargis said "most of that is covered through the grant."
The invoice from Honeywell and the motion to approve are included in the meeting record. The board recorded the expenditure as an approved emergency purchase; it did not debate alternate vendors on the floor during the meeting. Staff follow-up will be administrative submission of grant documentation and payment processing to Honeywell.
