The council voted to approve Levon and Carla's proposed fourplex (multifamily dwelling) subject to the dimensional standards the council recently adopted for RA-1/RA-8. Dallas moved approval of the fourplex as drawn with the stated setbacks and conditions, and the motion carried.
The chair told the applicants to apply for building permits and proceed with their plans: "Get down there and get your building permit." Council members discussed how the fourplex design resembles previously built multifamily units in nearby towns and noted material-cost pressures affecting per-unit prices.
The approval was specific to the design submitted and the setbacks/lot standards voted earlier; the council noted the parcel remains RA-1 and will not require rezoning under the adopted amendments.
