Knox County Public Health Administrator Michele Gabriel presented the department's 2025 annual report to the county board on Feb. 25, saying the report is required by state code and includes communicable-disease statistics, staff responsibilities, health-center information and a financial statement for the year.
Gabriel told members the health center serves elderly patients but the department does not operate programs exclusively for older residents. The board recorded no further questions and approved the Health Department report on a roll-call vote.
