KCAP reports outreach, trade-show work and County CEO recruitment plans for 2026

Ken Springer of the Knox County Partnership for Economic Development gave the first KCAP report for 2026, saying the organization is following up on projects from last year including the Intermobile Ag Rail Project at the Logistics Park and attending trade shows to source leads for targeted industries.
Springer said KCAP is recruiting for its ninth County CEO class and will visit several high schools in February to promote the program, listing United High School, Galesburg Christian School and scheduled visits in Knoxville, Abingdon-Avon, Galesburg High School and Williamsfield; dates were provided in the report. 'They are keeping their foot on the gas for this year,' Springer said, summarizing a proactive outreach approach.
