County approves Eaton contract for 911 UPS and greenlights pool readiness and funding

Commissioners unanimously approved a contract with Eaton Corporation for maintenance, warranty and battery replacement of the UPS system at the Randolph County 911 Center in the amount of $67,953.42. Commissioner Kesling described the contract as an updated maintenance and warranty plan necessary for the 911 Center’s equipment.
Separately, the Commission ratified its previously-signed approval letter for Whitmer Volunteer Fire Department to enter a lease-purchase agreement for a new fire engine/pumper. Commissioners also approved a bid for pool opening readiness up to $1,523.84 and authorized the first installment of pool funding for 2026 in the amount of $7,500 from Hotel/Motel Tax funds.
