County Engineer Catherine Terando updated the board that highway maintainers responded to recent snow events and crews are working on ditch cleanouts. She told the board the remainder of the salt order for the 2026–2027 season will be arriving soon and that the Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) bid opening is scheduled for April 2 at 10:00 A.M. at the Highway Department.
Terando also announced an electronic recycling event planned for April 24 at the Highway Department from noon to 4:00 P.M. The board approved a certificate of authority to bid on salt for the 2026–2027 season as part of consent agenda actions.
