The Successor Agency to the dissolved Arvin Community Redevelopment Agency adopted a Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS) for the period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, as required by Health and Safety Code section 34177. The board approved the ROPS at the Jan. 13 meeting with a unanimous recorded vote of 3-0.
The resolution was moved by AM/MPT Perez and seconded by AM/CM Reyes; it was entered as Resolution No. 2026-04. Staff recommended the ROPS and the board voted to adopt it without public comment recorded in the minutes.
The ROPS lists enforceable obligations of the dissolved redevelopment agency and provides the schedule for required payments over the stated fiscal period; adopting the ROPS allows the successor agency to meet state reporting and payment obligations.
