NETC approves officer slate and committee memberships through March 2028

The Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Commission voted to accept nominations for officers and committee memberships during its April 2, 2026 meeting. Chair Paul Turman presented the nominations; Commissioner Brian Maher moved to accept the slate and Commissioner Dorothy Anderson seconded the motion. Voting aye were Commissioners Anderson, Baxter, Blomstedt, Kircher, Maher, O’Neill, Smith and Turman.
The approved officers are: Dan O’Neill as Chair; Matt Blomstedt as Vice Chair; Stacey Decker as Secretary/Assistant Treasurer; and Randy Hansen as Treasurer/Assistant Secretary, with terms through March 2028. The Commission also approved the Executive Committee (Baxter, Blomstedt, O’Neill, Turman, Smith) and the Finance Committee (Baxter, Blomstedt, O’Neill, Turman, Smith) to serve through March 2028. The actions were recorded as formal motions and accepted without opposition during the meeting.
