During public comment resident Lynne Frazier told the commission that since Oakwood Drive was repaired a few years ago rain runoff has cut a large hole in her backyard and reiterated the problem at the April 7 meeting.
Commission President Michael C. Fulks, City Manager John Westfall and Commissioner Michael D. Carter agreed to visit the site during the week to inspect damage. Westfall said the city will look into repair options, seek cost estimates from its engineering firm and apply for emergency funding if warranted.
The commission recorded the complaint and scheduled an on-site inspection; no formal motion or funding decision was made at the meeting.
