The board also approved accreditation for A Step Above Learning Center pursuant to 70 O.S. § 3-104(A)(7) and OAC 210:35-33-1, authorized exceptions to permit emergency (provisional) teacher certificates under 70 O.S. 6-187(G), accepted findings of fact and conclusions of law from an administrative law judge, and took multiple certificate actions including revocations and a dismissal/reinstatement. Each motion recorded a mover and a second (for example, "Board Member Bobek moved to approve the emergency waiver submitted by Beggs Public Schools"), and the minutes show all votes carried with the same members voting in favor: Mr. Ryan Deatherage, Mr. Chris Van Denhende, Mr. Brian Bobek, Ms. Becky Carson, Mr. Mike Tinney, and State Superintendent Lindel Fields.
