NET commissioners approve FY2027 operating budget and 3rd-quarter financial report

Chief Financial Officer Randy Hansen presented both financial items; the Commission recorded unanimous aye votes from the seven commissioners in attendance.
The minutes show Commissioner Nick Baxter moved to approve the minutes from meeting #484 and later moved approval of the 3rd-quarter report; Commissioner Clay Smith seconded the minutes motion, and Commissioner Smith seconded the 3rd-quarter motion. For the FY2027 operating budget Commissioner Baxter moved and Commissioner Paul Turman seconded. The roll call for both budget items recorded voting aye: Commissioner Dorothy Anderson, Commissioner Nick Baxter, Commissioner Brian Maher, Chair Dan O’Neill, Commissioner Clay Smith, Commissioner Paul Turman, and Commissioner Courtney Wittstruck; none opposed. Commissioners Matt Blomstedt and Patricia Kircher were listed as absent.
Commission materials were reviewed by the Finance Committee in advance, and the minutes note the committee met prior to the full Commission meeting to examine the reports in greater detail. The Commission took formal action on both items during the meeting and recorded the outcomes in the minutes.
