ADR recommends approval of design review for 5 Allen Lane pool with conditions

Members also raised visibility and landscape buffering; one member suggested keeping the equipment as low as feasible and using planting to screen views. After discussion the ADR recorded three unanimous supports and instructed staff to capture recommended conditions (keep equipment low, require soundproofing details, and clarify whether setbacks are measured to the coping or waterline). The group’s action was a recommendation to the town council rather than a final permit grant.
