Soil & Water manager wins approval for watershed-plan contract revisions and reports renewable-energy verification

Soil & Water Conservation District Manager Sara Gronfeld asked the board to approve revisions to the Upper Minnesota River Watershed Partnership Plan Administrator/Fiscal Agent Agreement and the Contract for Services funding documents. Commissioners moved and seconded the item (motion by Chad Metz, second by Jerrel Olson) and approved the revisions unanimously.
Gronfeld also reported permit activity: one new sewage treatment system permit application and one wetland verification related to a potential renewable-energy development north of Beardsley. She provided a general update on the One Plan/Comprehensive Watershed Management work and noted that the Upper MN River Plan contract had revisions incorporated into the presented documents.
