Traverse Care Center officials say Medicare enrollment approved, site visit pending

Michelle Ehrenberg, representing Minnewaska, and Administrator Larry Kolojaco told the board that the facility’s Medicare number has been approved at both the federal and state levels and that the final step is a site visit to complete enrollment after a process that has taken nearly a year. “We are just waiting on a site visit for it to be finalized,” Ehrenberg said, and the record notes three new tenants are moving into Prairieview Place this month.

Commissioners received the status update without recording any formal action; the item was informational and focused on regulatory approval and operational readiness for new residents.
