County approves one-year waiver to exceed municipal construction fund balance for two 2025 highway projects

Gillespie identified the projects by SAP numbers: SAP 078-702-003 and a portion of SAP 078-609-021.
The resolution states the waiver would be effective through Dec. 31, 2025, and was presented to the board as a one-year request tied to planned expenditures that will draw down the construction fund balance. Commissioner Kayla Schmidt moved approval; Commissioner Jerrel Olson seconded, and the board approved the resolution unanimously. The action ensures the county’s project funding needs will not be reduced in the State Aid calculations because of the current unencumbered balance.
