Commissioners approve consent agenda and multiple budget amendments including E-911 and departmental BNAs
Summary
At the Sept. 16 meeting the board approved the consent agenda, routine tax reports, and a series of budget amendments and transfers including $217,454 in E-911 funding and several small departmental BNAs.
Cleveland County commissioners approved the consent agenda Sept. 16, adopting the meeting agenda and minutes and accepting monthly tax reports and abatements for July and August 2025.
The board also approved numerous budget amendments presented as BNAs: an America 250 grant allocation of $10,000 to the Manager’s Office (BNA #003); Register of Deeds donations of $80 for staff luncheon (BNA #007); E-911 telephone system funding of $217,454 and related capital and contingency line items (BNA #008); multiple Sheriff’s Office BNAs including a $10,000 JOPS grant (BNA #009) and donations (BNAs #011–12); and Cooperative Extension and other departmental amendments. All motions were adopted unanimously.
These routine approvals included statutory reports from the Tax Collector and formal acceptance of departmental budget transfers required by state law.
