Board appoints John Maher to vacant seat, sets 2026 annual meeting date

The Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Association board unanimously appointed John Maher to the vacant board seat during its March 11, 2025 meeting. Treasurer Aron Sanchez moved to appoint Maher, Jessica Woll seconded, and the motion passed as Resolution 2025/3-3; Maher accepted the appointment. The term for the seat expires Feb. 8, 2027.
The board also set the date for the 2026 annual meeting for Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026. Sanchez moved to set the date; Director Rashawnda Daniels-Atkinson seconded and the motion passed unanimously (Resolution 2025/3-4). These scheduling and appointment actions were taken on the consent and new-business portions of the agenda and require no further immediate board action.
