Council hears cemetery updates; city to consider donating retired truck

Councilman Scott Saari told council the new cemetery office is nearing completion and credited Service Director Joe Borczuch for coordination and physical help. Saari described Wreaths Across America volunteer coordination for holiday wreath donations and said the clerk will post donation information on the city website.
Saari said the cemetery chairman requested assistance finding a replacement truck and that the city has a 2009 vehicle being replaced which could be donated to the cemetery after some work. He said he will work with the law director and clerk to prepare legislation for the next council meeting to effect the donation.
