Sheridan County Engineer Ken Muller told commissioners on Feb. 23 that rights-of-way negotiations for Eastridge Road are underway with construction expected this spring and a target completion by October. He reported Kleenburn (Kleenburn) project plans are progressing with a June target and that Red Grade bids would open the following day.
Muller also announced a resignation in a Road & Bridge district operator position and asked permission to advertise and refill the vacancy. Commissioner Lonnie Wright made the motion to refill the district operator position; the motion passed unanimously. The board did not specify contractor awards or construction start dates beyond the seasonal targets provided by the county engineer.
