At its Aug. 5 meeting, the Cleveland County Board of Commissioners approved a slate of consent and routine items by unanimous votes. The Board approved the July 8, 2025 minutes; June 2025 tax abatements totaling ($10,210.93) and supplements totaling $50,335.45; late exemption/exclusion/deferral applications under N.C. Gen. Stat. §105-282.1; and the Order directing the Tax Collector to collect 2025 and prior years’ taxes under N.C. Gen. Stat. §105-321(b).
The Board also approved multiple budget amendments: Social Services BNA #004 ($164,819 for Adoption Promotion Title XX funds), Finance BNA #005 ($84,114 for E-911 EOC equipment and furniture), and Board of Elections BNA #006 ($75,372 for a change order). Commissioners voted unanimously on all recorded consent agenda and budget-transfer motions. No amendments or recorded dissent were noted in the public minutes.
