The Cleveland County Board of Commissioners approved the Sheriff's Office request to accept a Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) allocation of $15,461 to buy Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for patrol deputies.
County staff said the award aligns with the Sheriff’s 'Jumpstart Saving Lives' initiative and will be used to outfit patrol vehicles that currently lack AEDs. The Board adopted the action unanimously during the consent portion of the meeting.
