Planning staff described a request from JM & AD, LLC (represented by Tim Simms) to rezone a 6-acre parcel at 476 Oak Grove–Clover Hill Church Road from Residential (R) to General Business–Conditional Use (GB-CU) to allow development of an RV campground. A site plan has been submitted with the application; surrounding uses are mostly residential on large tracts and the Land Use Plan designates the area as Rural Preservation.
The Board voted unanimously to set a public hearing for Sept. 16, 2025. The hearing will allow neighbors and other stakeholders to comment on the RV campground proposal and review the applicant’s site plan before the Commission takes a final rezoning vote.
