Andrea Brand reported another successful Star Party in partnership with local parks and Rangers and credited volunteers for monitoring efforts this summer. Staff shared photos and described the community theatre production “Leaving a Trace,” staged in four acts along Slickrock, which sold out its limited nights and drew strong emotional responses from attendees.
Brand also screened a trailer for a planned film, “Old Growth Forest of Moab,” and noted the film contributed photography used for the 2026 annual pass cover. She said staff have adapted patrol logs to coordinate with the Trail Ambassador program and that interpretive programming remains a priority for outreach and volunteer engagement going into 2026.
