Andrea Brand reported the Non‑motorized Trails master plan has City approval and will require a County Commission vote to finalize city/county alignment. Brand said Falcon Climb construction advanced this week with approximately a mile of new trail built and about three miles completed from the lower Falcon parking lot.
Contractors and volunteers completed initial repairs on the Porcupine 4x4 road, stabilizing drainage and strengthening rock lining; two additional sections remain to be repaired and equipment was moved north for maintenance. Committee members praised volunteer efforts and noted remaining hazards that should be addressed before spring.
