The Emery County Museum Board unanimously approved the minutes of the prior meeting and voted to accept a donated Dixon Peacock plaque for display.
Chair (S2) opened the meeting asking if members had read the minutes; Committee member (S3) moved to accept them “as printed,” and the motion was seconded and carried. After the minutes, S2 introduced the Dixon Peacock plaque and praised its appearance: “It really looks nice.” Committee members approved a motion to add the plaque to the museum’s exhibits.
The board did not attach conditions to the display; members complimented the plaque’s workmanship and moved on to other agenda items. The board’s next regular meeting and simultaneous open house is scheduled for August 22 at 7 p.m.
