Planning Director John Cooper referenced Land Development Regulations Section 26.00 to describe the Development Review Committee's remit: to review development applications and make recommendations to the Planning Commission as appropriate. He told the committee the Reserve at Turtle Creek application will be reviewed by the Planning Commission on Oct. 1.
Jennifer M. LeVasseur, City Clerk and Public Relations Officer, explained the process for making, seconding and adopting motions and emphasized fully stating motions for clarity. After discussion the committee agreed to afford public speakers one minute each at this committee level because formal public hearings will be held at the Planning Commission and City Council meetings.
