CERC reports fully booked Women’s Expo, Cowboy Channel exposure for fair and rodeo

Carbon Events Recreation Center Director Kourtney Cox told the board the upcoming Women’s Expo this weekend is fully booked and the annual Easter egg hunt is scheduled for March 21 at noon with an adaptive area added. Casino Night is set for April 24 with donated overnight stays and rounds of golf among the prizes.
Cox reported fair and rodeo planning is underway, with the event to be featured on the Cowboy Channel this year. The Rock and Coal Music Festival will include a CERC show, and the center is planning an even larger Fourth of July concert and fireworks display with a new nighttime car show. Recent facility improvements funded by the Black Diamond Rodeo include arena and holding-pin upgrades and sidewalk repairs.
