The Committee on Administration, Buildings, and Grounds reported on the university’s six-year capital outlay prioritization list and a technical change that shifted part of Phase II housing into the long-range forecast.
Chair Ardine Williams said the committee received an update from Sean Hughes on remediation efforts at the 1732 President’s House and noted that additional testing will refine cost estimates ahead of a fall update. The Board adopted Resolution 1-R — which included a revision related to geothermal work priority — by unanimous voice vote.
The committee withdrew a separate Resolution 2 on counsel’s advice that it was unnecessary. Administration staff will follow up with more granular cost and timing information after further testing.
