Board reappoints HRA member, approves early retirement and renews retiree insurance benefits

Commissioner Kayla Schmidt moved to approve Dianne Reinart’s early retirement effective end of February 2025, with the county paying her health insurance at the active‑employee rate until she turns 65; Commissioner Chad Metz seconded the motion and it passed 4–1 with Commissioner Jerrel Olson opposed. The board also approved the 2025 renewals for Sr. Gold and Medicare Rx for retirees, which returned an average 1% increase over 2024.
