The Grant County Planning Commission opened its Jan. 7 meeting and approved the Nov. 5, 2025 workshop minutes. Bill Bailey moved to accept the minutes; Richard Leitz seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Commissioners also elected 2026 officers. Bill Bailey moved to nominate Elliott Goodrich for Chairman and later moved that Bailey serve as Vice-Chair; after a withdrawal of a competing nomination, the commissions voted unanimously to appoint Elliott Goodrich as Chair and Bill Bailey as Vice-Chair. "Bill Bailey moves for Elliott Goodrich to act as Planning Commission Chairman for the year 2026," the meeting record shows for the motion that carried the officer appointments.
