Council reviews road-name updates and a $25,000 bid for Juniper Heights Road

Councilmember Tyler Christensen reported road-name updates sent to Millard County GSI and relayed a contractor's bid for Juniper Heights Road at a previously discussed price of $25,000 if an outstanding Nephi bid is received.
Tyler Christensen told the council he submitted road-name updates to Adam Britt for Millard County GSI records and will confirm with Adam that county records and then state records are updated. The council recorded that, once county updates occur, the state should follow suit.
Tyler also reported that Philip Wood provided a bid for Juniper Heights Road work and stated he could do the work at the previously discussed price of $25,000 if he receives an outstanding Nephi bid. Councilmembers noted they had not yet received all competing bids and will follow up when those arrive.
Mayor Lovell said Russ found a set of road signs in storage that members will inspect for possible reuse.
