Air monitoring report deferred to July; liaison to adjust presentations for closure phase
Summary
Grand County UMTRA Liaison Jessica Thacker said air monitoring and status reports were received too late to present and will be presented at the July meeting. She said future liaison presentations will focus on closure-phase activities and provide historic monitoring and final status survey mapping as appropriate.

Jessica Thacker told the committee she did not have a presentation for April because the air monitoring report and status reports were received the day before the meeting and she had not had sufficient time to review and vet the information. She said that data "will be presented at the July meeting."
Thacker said that now that the tailings pile has been removed and the Project is moving toward closure activities, future liaison presentations will be adjusted to better reflect current site activities rather than focusing only on visual changes to the former pile area. She said the status update can be found on the Grand County Moab UMTRA website or by email at jthacker@grandcountyutah.gov.
