The Nevada State Board of Oriental Medicine convened Sept. 11, 2025, and unanimously approved the minutes of the prior meeting along with several administrative items. Dr. Huiwen Zhang moved to approve the minutes, Dr. Michael Ferris seconded, and the motion carried with all members voting in favor.
Board President Dr. Angela Nation presided over a short agenda that included the scheduling of the state licensure exam, approval of applicants to sit for the exam, conditional approval for one applicant pending degree documentation, acceptance of a continuing-education application from NOMA, a treasurer update, and setting the next meeting for Oct. 23, 2025. Dr. Ferris reported that "the accounts look fine," and the board adjourned after a brief public-comment period in which no speakers appeared.
