Ralph Lucero was elected County Commission Chair under Resolution 26-01 after a motion by Commissioner Ray Carpenter and a second by Commissioner Tanner Windhorst; the vote was 5-0. The nominations and roll call votes took place as part of the special meeting called to order at 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2026.
