CDE Property Management emailed Grant Administrator Shanny Wilson saying their property management team is behind schedule and asking to withdraw the $5,000 award that had been earmarked for a third sober living home.
Shanny told the board she called CEO Chelsie Durdan for clarification and that Chelsie said the organization has spent a significant amount of funding in other areas. Shanny said she would accept a detailed change-of-funding request but warned staff and the board that "there are no guarantees for a funding change." Board member Jon Richens recommended the applicant provide a firm project end date if they seek reallocation or reinstatement of funds.
The withdrawal was noted and will be forwarded to the board for consideration if a change request is submitted; no final board action on reallocation was taken at the meeting.
