County engineers update commission on bridge, CSAH 15 and graveling progress

County Engineer Chad Gillespie and Highway Supervisor Brian Koch briefed the board on current highway work during the Oct. 1 meeting.
Gillespie provided project updates on the County Road 76 bridge and County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 15 and reviewed upcoming engineering meetings. Supervisor Brian Koch reported that the Highway Department graveled 91 miles within the county during the recent period and that 87 of those miles were completed using county crews rather than contractors.
The updates were informational and did not require board action at the meeting; commissioners thanked staff for the report.
