Board approves office‑sharing agreement for former probation office with State

County Attorney Matt Franzese presented an office‑sharing agreement to allow the State of Minnesota, Eighth Judicial District to use the former probation office on the courthouse second floor. Commissioner Jerrel Olson moved to approve the agreement pending minor corrections and Commissioner Kayla Schmidt seconded; the motion passed 4-0.
Franzese will forward the agreement to Judge Wilcox for the judge’s approval. Commissioners noted that permit fees related to the arrangement will be discussed at the next Board meeting, and no permit fee decision was made at this session.
