At its Jan. 20 meeting, the Cleveland County Board of Commissioners approved the consent agenda and a series of routine financial items and budget amendments.
Actions taken included approval of minutes from Nov. 18 and Dec. 2, 2025; acceptance of the November and December 2025 tax collection reports; approval of abatements and supplements (November abatements ($2,856.20) and supplements $7,139.67; December abatements ($3,386.98) and supplements $15,707.77); and approval of a pending refund of $1,216.24 to petitioners Linda Kimble and Johnny Scott for a clerical overcharge. The Board also approved a budget transfer summary covering Nov. 21, 2025–Jan. 9, 2026.
The Board approved several budget amendments: BNA #034 (Transportation Administration — ROAP grant allocation of $84,083), BNA #035 (Sheriff’s Office K‑9 donation $500), BNA #036 (Veterans Resource Connection donations $2,500), BNA #038 (Sheriff’s Office fair security offset $20,725), and BNA #039 (LEVS mini-grant $12,000 for victim services). Each item was approved unanimously on motions recorded in the meeting packet.
