Mark Gail, Commission Chair, called the Traverse County Commission meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. on Aug. 20, 2024. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the commission approved the meeting agenda following a motion by Commissioner Jerrel Olson and a second from Commissioner Dwight Nelson; the motion passed unanimously (4-0).
The commission then approved the minutes from the Aug. 6, 2024 meeting on a motion by Olson and second by Nelson, also passing 4-0. No conflicts of interest were declared during the roll call. The meeting proceeded to departmental reports and agenda items after the approvals.
