Ford said the hotline produced one conflict-of-interest allegation that warranted follow-up, one submission that consisted of unintelligible "gibberish" and could not be acted on, four submissions tied to scheduling changes in the sheriff's patrol division that were referred to HR, and a separate personnel conduct complaint that was forwarded to and is being addressed by the sheriff's office. "They followed all procedures and processes," Ford said about the scheduling complaints and added that the issue appears to be resolved.
The committee did not direct additional action beyond noting the referrals and investigations; members thanked staff for the update.
