Trevor (presenter) reported early metrics from the county’s March National Sleep Awareness Month initiative and said the campaign increased social‑media visibility and engagement.
"Total of our social media posts for March, we did a 105. 51 of those were sleep related," Trevor said, reporting that Facebook plays/views were up about 120% and that link clicks and interactions increased substantially (link clicks were up nearly 300%; page visits up nearly 42%). He noted videos and reels drove the largest gains and that collaborative posts with Southwest Utah Health Department helped expand reach.
Board members asked whether one‑page summer handouts could be prepared for families as school lets out; staff said they are preparing back‑to‑school checklist materials and will have youth council support at an upcoming Safe Kids Day. The board asked staff to circulate a printed copy of the related magazine article and to continue sending campaign materials for broader distribution.
