Commission asks staff for maps and infrastructure analysis, schedules tech-council follow-up

At the meeting’s close commissioners directed staff to return with additional analysis and potential mitigation options. Staff said it would take comments to the tech council (target Sept. 23) and offered to revisit the issue at a special meeting on Sept. 16 if the commission wanted an earlier check-in: "I could bring this sort of discussion back to our special meeting on September 16," the presenter said.
Commissioners asked for more detailed mapping that shows where additional density could be concentrated to limit neighborhood impacts (for example, prioritizing Area F, which abuts fewer existing homes), an infrastructure assessment focused on stormwater and traffic, and legal options to condition any transfer of town-held credits on deed restrictions or long-term affordability provisions. Staff agreed to prepare those materials for the next round of discussion.
