Resident urges moving public comment until after staff presentation

"It puts, it puts a speaker like myself ... in a marked disadvantage when we have not heard from the town as to what their thinking is," Lyle said, asking whether the town had completed a study indicating a need for additional workforce housing.
Chair (speaker 2) and Joshua, the planning director, responded that the packet includes a housing needs assessment and capacity analysis and that staff would reserve time for public input at the end of the presentation and post the planning packet online for public review.
The exchange concluded with staff offering to make the slides and the planning commission packet available so commenters could follow up with specific questions.
