Chairman Gordon said a previously referenced total of approximately $89 million included roughly $75 million associated with completing the Justice Center, about $19 million in local funds alongside additional state funding, and that an additional sum of about $14 million pertains to developing a new landfill site and acquiring related equipment. He emphasized that landfill development is funded through an enterprise fund supported by user fees and is not paid from general property tax revenues.
