County Engineer Ken Muller presented a petition to vacate a portion of County Road 141 (also called Old Banner‑Story Road or Piney‑Prairie Dog Creek Road) in Sections 4, 5 and 8, Township 53N, Range 83W, and recommended the Board approve the notice of intent to vacate. Muller said public use declined significantly after the State highway opened in 1922.
Commissioner Mike Arzy asked whether the corridor might be used as a recreational trail for Story or Banner communities; Muller said he did not see a need for a trail in that area. Commissioner Nick Siddle moved to approve Resolution 26‑02‑034 and the Board authorized the chairman to sign; the minutes record the vote as unanimous.
