Commissioners discussed outreach to the EBS Trust Board and ways to strengthen coordination between the Trust Board, the Historic Preservation Commission and county staff.
Eve Parish said she had reached out to the Trust Board general email but received no reply and planned a renewed effort to connect. Parish noted a public potluck posted for Nov. 13 and said she might attend to introduce herself. Marshall Bronson cautioned that the potluck is not the place for formal presentations, but recommended attending to meet community volunteers. "That potluck is usually not the time to make presentations," Bronson said, while encouraging staff to consider scheduling a short presentation at a Trust Board meeting for mutual education.
The commission agreed staff would continue outreach and that attending informal events could help re‑establish relationships and clarify the commission's role in design review and COAs.
