Mayor Susan Painter called the April 13 meeting to order and the council administered the city oath to LaDawn Ripperda by phone, formally swearing her in as a camp host for 2026. At the meeting the council voted to appoint LaDawn and Kenneth Ripperda as the 2026 Campground Hosts (Action 26-040), a motion moved by Councilmember Vogel and seconded by Councilmember Hanisch that passed on roll call with no opposition.
Council members also noted the campground is scheduled to open May 1, 2026, weather permitting, and reviewed end-of-month campground revenue. The appointment ensures host coverage for the upcoming season and was recorded in the minutes as part of the council’s special topics for the meeting.
