The Board approved a grant agreement between the Fairfield County Board of Commissioners and the Ohio Department of Public Safety/Ohio Emergency Management Agency for the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP). EMA & Facilities Director Jon Kochis listed the SHSP agreement among resolutions of note, and the Board authorized signature for the agreement as required by grant terms.
Commissioners approved the resolution on a roll call vote as part of the regular agenda. Staff said the award would support regional preparedness activities consistent with SHSP priorities; the meeting record does not include the grant dollar amount or specific program uses, which will be incorporated into grant paperwork and subsequent reporting to the Board.
