Budget Director Bart Hampson reminded department heads that 27 working days remain before third-level budget submissions close and urged submission of all changes and updated Tables of Organization. He said departments should ensure their entries are complete to allow timely review.
Hampson told the board the county will increase its health-insurance projection from 8% to 10% to reflect anticipated pharmacy-cost increases. "The budget projection for health insurance will be increased from 8% to 10% to account for anticipated cost increases," he said. He also reported that the final American Rescue Plan Act payment is being processed and that his team continues work on county financial reporting initiatives.
The item was informational and procedural; no formal vote was taken. Departments were instructed to comply with the stated deadlines and to include updated organizational charts with budget materials.
